We are currently seeking a Test/Repair Technician in our RMA department. As an RMA Test/Repair Technician, you will be responsible for handling, cleaning, testing, diagnosing, and repairing assorted electronic assemblies. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.

This position reports to the Customer Success Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Tracking assemblies to be tested/repaired.
  • Cleaning of assemblies to be tested/repaired.
  • Mechanical disassembly of products to obtain electronic assemblies to be tested/repaired.
  • Generation of and adherence to test procedures for a variety of different product line.
  • Documentation/filing of all product testing/repairs.
  • Testing of electronic assemblies and finished goods.
  • Generation of test reports, including validation materials.
  • Ability to make repair or scrap decisions.
  • Identifying and cross-referencing components.
  • Using schematics and Work Instructions for testing and repair.
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly test/repair area.
  • Maintaining and ordering test/repair supplies and tools.
  • Organizing and storage of replacement components and assemblies.
  • Working with other team members to return quality products to customers in a timely fashion.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to use test equipment for electrical analysis.
  • General knowledge of electricity and ability to interpret electrical schematics.
  • Ability to solder and de-solder.
  • Strong presentation, writing, and communication skills

Working Conditions

  • This position works in a technical lab where there are electronics and testing equipment. It is climate controlled.
