Matrix is owned by a larger company, Alliance Resource Limited Partnership. ARLP is a diversified natural resource company that generates income from coal production and oil & gas mineral interests located in strategic producing regions across the United States. Alliance is a master limited partnership with common units traded on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the ticker “ARLP.” This position is based out of Lexington, Kentucky, and is a Part 91 Corporate Flight Department position.

*The pilot must be willing to relocate within 1 hour of Lexington, Kentucky*

Averages 12-13 days per month

CJ1+, CJ3 and Sovereign - Type rating preferred

• The Corporate Pilot is responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which they are assigned while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign regulations, policies and procedures
• Comply with schedules and other directives governing aircraft operation
• Ensure pre-flight inspections are performed and aircraft is prepared for flight
• Study weather conditions at destination, enroute, at alternate airports and departure points
• Prepare and file flight plans
• Review and calculate aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board and performance charts
• Assist in cleaning, stocking and updating avionics of company aircraft as needed
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
• Aircraft operated in crew environment; CRM and interpersonal skills with team member mentality are necessary
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays


• CE525/s and/or CE680 type
• Radio telephone operators permit
• Bachelor’s Degree

• Current and valid Passport or ability to obtain
• 1st Class Medical or ability to obtain
• Current and valid Driver’s License
• A minimum of 1500 hours total flight time
• No FAA Sanctions or Accidents within Past 5 years
