We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer who will participate in all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. Your duties will include designing, developing, prototyping, and testing mechanical components of products and systems.

You should be well-versed in complex mechanical or electronic systems and possess excellent problem-solving abilities as well as a creative approach to your tasks.

This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.


  • Organize a full lifecycle product development, including design, development, test prototypes, manufacturing, and implementation

  • Develop systems and components that meet needs and requirements and prepare outline designs

  • Organize experiments methodically, analyze data and interpret results

  • Conduct tests and evaluate theoretical designs

  • Research and produce effective solutions to emerging problems

  • Review the final product’s overall performance, reliability, and safety

  • Improve design to meet requirements and eliminate malfunctions

  • Help create product reports, product, documentation, end-user documentation, and sales literature

  • Stay informed about new theories or methods

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • BS Mechanical Engineering

  • 2+ years experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or in other relevant position

  • Experience in solid modeling, preferably SolidWorks

  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), preferably Arena

  • Working knowledge of DFSS, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Design of Experiments (DOE) preferred

  • Excellent knowledge of core concepts and principles of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, etc.

  • Strong creativity and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and technical writing skills

Working Conditions

The general working conditions for this position is an office environment It will be necessary from time to time to visit the warehouse where safety precautions will need to be taken. While in the office, the noise level is usually low. However, the noise level can be low to moderate in the warehouse.

The physical requirements can include long hours on a computer keyboard and prolonged periods of sitting. There may also be periods of standing and/or walking. The ability to lift 10 pounds may also be necessary.
