We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Generation and Salesforce Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our sales efforts through effective lead generation and optimizing our Salesforce CRM system. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales operations and CRM management. This position works in a team environment at our Lexington, KY office. This is not a remote position. This is a paid internship.
This position reports to the Vice President of Industrial Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead Generation:
o Research and identify potential leads through various online and offline channels.
o Develop and maintain a database of potential clients and prospects.
o Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of lead generation activities and suggest improvements.
• Salesforce Optimization:
o Assist in the daily management and optimization of the Salesforce CRM.
o Clean and update the Salesforce database by ensuring accurate data entry and removing duplicates.
o Support the sales team by creating reports, dashboards, and workflows to enhance productivity.
o Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure Salesforce supports business processes effectively.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
o Analyze lead generation data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
o Prepare and present regular reports on lead generation and Salesforce optimization efforts.
o Provide recommendations based on data-driven insights to enhance lead quality and conversion rates.
Qualifications & Competencies
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills in a fast-paced environment.
